The short answer
Eligible progress = stake × contribution percentage. At 10% contribution, a 5-unit stake adds 0.5 units of progress. At 0%, it adds none.
Convert the percentage into eligible progress
Take a fictional promotion with 200 units of wagering left. A game contributing 100% would require 200 units of eligible stakes to add that progress. At 10%, the equivalent stake total is 2,000. These are arithmetic totals, not an estimate of time or loss.
The balance could be exhausted before either total is reached. A lower contribution percentage does not create a reason to increase spending.
Separate reduced contribution from exclusion
A reduced-contribution game adds some progress. An excluded game may add none or may not be permitted with bonus funds at all. Read which meaning the rules give to “excluded”.
Game availability in a catalogue does not establish bonus eligibility. A title can appear in a review while carrying different restrictions for a specific offer or account.

If the progress looks wrong, compare a settled round with the exact contribution rule. Record the game title, stake, round time and before-and-after progress, then ask support to explain the difference.
Do not keep staking to test an uncertain rule. A written explanation is more useful than a sequence of additional rounds whose contribution you still cannot account for.
