The short answer
Compare the first deposit on its own, then check the full package. A match percentage describes bonus credit; the cap limits that credit. Neither number is a promise of withdrawable money.
Separate the match from the maximum
For a hypothetical 100% match capped at 200 units, a deposit of 60 units would generate 60 units of bonus credit. A deposit of 300 would generate only 200. The formula is the smaller of deposit × match rate and the bonus cap.
Use the currency named in the offer. A cap quoted in bitcoin is not automatically the same offer as a cap quoted in euros, even when both appear in the same advertisement.
Treat each deposit stage as a separate decision
A package total may add together several offers. Record the first-stage cap, later-stage caps and any spins separately. Do not increase your intended spending just to reach an advertised maximum.
A useful comparison keeps the deposit amount fixed across offers. Otherwise, a larger bonus can conceal the fact that it asks you to commit more of your own money.
Compare what happens after the credit appears
Read the rules for wagering, eligible games, expiry and withdrawal before deciding. For the featured operator, our bonus page brings those conditions together and links to the original terms.
- What amount is multiplied by the wagering requirement?
- Which games count, and at what rate?
- What happens to deposited funds and winnings if the bonus is cancelled?
Common questions
Is the largest cap the best offer?
Not necessarily. Compare the credit at your intended deposit amount and the conditions attached to it. A larger cap alone says little about usefulness.
Must I take all deposit stages?
Read the specific promotion. A package total is not a reason to make further deposits or to spend beyond your original limit.
